How a Woman Used Hypnosis to Slay the Red Bull

Below is a link to an interesting and informative article in the Daily Mail about a 30-year-old woman who tapped into the power of her own mind to wean herself off an addition to Red Bull, a popular energy drink loaded with caffeine.  The story includes links to video interviews with both the woman and the hypnotist who worked with her.

I'm often asked about hypnosis and its use as a tool to manage phobias, improve eating habits and negate tobacco addiction.  When a person is ready to make a positive and meaningful change, hypnosis is a powerful and completely natural tool.

Going Caffeine-Free with Hypnosis

High doses of caffeine is not a sustainable way to be energized in life.
I just read an interesting article in the New York Times about the concerns and risks associated with the rapidly increasing consumption of high caffeine energy drinks such as Monster, Red Bull and Rockstar.  Here's a link.

Of particular note is the use of these products by teenagers as a strategy to cram in studying, after school activities and social obligations.  They cut out sleep and then reply on high doses of caffeine to remain attentive.

Since incorporating self-hypnosis into my life about six years ago I have removed caffeine from my diet, with the exception of the occasional chocolate bar.  Plus, hypnosis helps me manage my sleep schedule to function at a high level with as little as five hours of rest a night.  (I only do this for two or three days at a time as I typically need six to seven hours of sleep.)

Hypnosis is NOT a replacement for healthy living or medical care.  Yet, a person can use it as a tool to condition their mind to achieve remarkable outcomes without the need for massive intakes of caffeine.
