Team Building Fun with Hypnosis

Cincinnati Bengals' Adam Jones gave hypnosis a try during a team building event.

I have written extensively on this blog about how athletes employ the power of visualization to improve performance on the field, injury recovery and overall physical/mental well-being.  Here is a link to a great read in ESPN Magazine at the Seattle Seahawks use of alternative approaches.

Of course, a hypnosis show can also be a whole lot of fun and help teammates bond, thereby fostering a stronger sense of unity.

During this past pre-season the Cincinnati Bengals invited in hypnotist Ricky Kalmon to entertain the squad.  This article has a wonderful recap of the experience, along with a video of what happens when athletes get creative.

Interested in trying hypnosis?  Come on out to Cox Farms’ Fields of Fear this Saturday, October 8.  Starting at 8 PM, I’ll be part of the entertainment in the Firegrounds area performing demonstrations for volunteers.
